WS Warmsener Spezialitäten GmbH is part of the Uelzena Group, a cooperatively organized dairy enterprise. Employing a staff of almost 90 people at our Warmsen site, we have been producing sweetened condensed milk and milk products as ingredients for the food processing industry and in particular for confectionery, chocolate and delicatessen manufacturers. We export our products worldwide. We are successfully continuing a 100-year tradition in milk processing at
this location in Warmsen. Our production facilities encompass the latest technologies and comprehensive expertise and know how in the production of sweetened condensed milk, premium cream, milk based ice cream mixes and customized milk and milkfat products. We are a forward-looking, internationally active company that is constantly expanding and modernizing its production facilities and opening up new markets.
Sweetened condensed milk and other milk products for B2B
We are one of the largest suppliers of sweetened condensed milk in Europe. Our customer list embraces large international chocolate, confectionery, ice cream and dessert manufacturers from all over the world. Our second product line comprises dairy products such as cream or customized developed milk and milk fat products for the food and delicatessen industry. We distribute these fresh milk products predominately throughout Germany and in neighboring countries. Our specific strength is the development of tailor-made products.
Our strong focus on B2B transactions with customers from the food industry is also reflected in the extremely broad range of filling solutions that we offer and that serve all industrial requirements. In this respect we offer a variety that sets us apart from many of our competitors: this ranges from various bag-in-box systems, sterile containers, drums, disposable and returnable containers to tank trucks. Our optimization efforts do not focus solely on the products but we also take into consideration the custom-fit and feasible incorporation into our customers' production lines.
We focus on sustainability
Sustainability is a key value that governs all of our activities - from the mainly regional sourcing of the raw material milk to resource-saving production processes and frequent investments in energy saving and environmental measures. This is also reflected in our responsible handling of employees and in our social commitment on a regional level. The introduction of a certified energy management system according to ISO 50001 supports us in our ongoing energy efficiency improvements.
Milk from the region
Since we are a part of the central cooperative Uelzena eG, we are able to use our own milk raw materials for most of our products. The milk comes from contract suppliers and member dairies from Northern Germany, which is one of the key milk producing areas in Germany. This guarantees a reliable supply and the safe quality of our main raw material milk. The Uelzena Group and with it the Warmsen site is taking part in the pilot project "sustainability module milk" which seeks to collect and evaluate the sustainability of milk production at participating farms.
